Service Description

This one-day recertification course is designed for individuals who currently hold a valid (non-expired) Standard First Aid with CPR-C certification and need to renew their credentials. The course reviews and reinforces essential first aid knowledge and skills, including CPR Level C (adult, child, and infant) and AED use. Participants will engage in focused hands-on training, scenario-based learning, and instructor-led review to ensure they remain confident and competent in responding to medical emergencies in the workplace, at home, or in the community. This course meets federal and provincial occupational health and safety standards and is widely recognized by employers across Canada. Course Topics Include: - Emergency scene management and safety - CPR and AED (adult, child, infant) - Choking, breathing, and circulation emergencies - Bleeding, shock, and wound care - Sudden medical conditions (e.g., heart attack, stroke, seizures) - Injuries to bones, joints, and head/spine - Environmental emergencies (heat/cold) Course Details: Duration: 8 hours Certification: Standard First Aid with CPR-C Recert (valid for 3 years) Includes: Course review, practical skills assessment, and certification card Prerequisites: Current (non-expired) Standard First Aid with CPR-C certification from a recognized provider. Participants must present proof of certification on the day of the course.
