Service Description

The National Lifeguard Recertification course is a one-day refresher designed to evaluate and renew the skills and knowledge of currently certified National Lifeguards. This course ensures that lifeguards maintain the high level of competence, judgment, and physical fitness required to effectively prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies. Through practical assessments, scenario-based evaluations, and skill review, participants will demonstrate their continued ability to meet National Lifeguard standards in surveillance, rescue, teamwork, and emergency care. The course reinforces the core responsibilities of professional lifeguards and updates participants on any changes to standards or procedures. Course Includes: - Review of lifeguarding principles and protocols - Practical evaluation of water rescue skills and fitness - Team response scenarios and emergency simulations - Updates on policies, procedures, and best practices Course Details: Duration: 8 hours Certification: National Lifeguard (Pool) – valid for 2 years Format: In-person practical evaluation Includes: Performance assessment and updated certification card Prerequisites: Current or recently expired National Lifeguard certification (within the grace period defined by the certifying agency).
